It’s been a good week for Indian singer-songwriter Anuv Jain and his fans on Spotify. On Sunday, 28 June, he staged ‘Coming Home to Anuv Jain’, a special event organised by the DSP in New Delhi for premium subscribers who are among his most engaged listeners.

Jain spoke about his creative process and shared the stories behind his songs at the fan-meet during which he performed his most popular tracks on the streaming service. On Thursday, 01 July, one of those tunes, ‘Arz Kiya Hai’, became his third single to hit No.1 on the platform’s Daily Top Songs chart for India, following 2023’s ‘Husn’ and 2024’s ‘Jo Tum Mere Ho’, both of which have over 500m plays so far.

The achievement didn’t just mark Jain’s third chart-topper but also the first from Coke Studio Bharat. ‘Arz Kiya Hai’ was part of the 2025 season of the music video series. Notably, two songs from Coke Studio Pakistan, 2022’s ‘Pasoori’ by Ali Sethi and Shae Gill and 2024’s ‘Jhol’ by Maanu and Annural Khalid, have reached the pole position in India.

Conversely, ‘Arz Kiya Hai’ reached No.1 in Pakistan back in September 2025, just two weeks after its release. The country is among Jain’s top international territories on Spotify, along with the United States, the United Kingdom, and Canada. His fan base in all those markets skews young. Nearly half of his listeners belong to Gen- Z, specifically those between the ages of 18 and 24, says the DSP.
