Global Talent Services (GTS) is the Latin artist-services agency that sits within Universal Music Group, although it span off as a standalone company separate from its local labels last October.
Now GTS is the latest arm of UMG to be making acquisitions, announcing yesterday that it is buying Latin music-management company Rosa Lagarrigue Management (RLM).
The latter has worked with a number of prominent artists since its launch in 1980, including Miguel Bosé, Mecano, Alejandro Sanz, Raphael, Sara Baras, Rozalén and Marlena. Its founder Rosa Lagarrigue will join GTS as its global executive VP.
“What we started at RLM not only continues, but it is amplified and strengthened alongside them,” she said in a statement.
